This genuine, natural Australian opal pendant has been made with a quality Coober Pedy (Hans Peak field) solid opal we mined, cut and set in solid 14 karat yellow gold here at Star Mountain Gems.
An almost otherworldly brilliance shines from the heart of this piece with piercing lime green and gold fire in a water clear crystal base.
This quality opal is valued at $800 per carat. (1.25 carats gem opal weight)

DIMENSIONS: Approximately 20 mm high by 8 mm wide by around 3 mm thick. (whole pendant including bail)
BRIGHTNESS: This would qualify as a ‘night stone’ meaning the fire is so bright it shines in very low light. 5++ out of 5!
INCLUSIONS: VVS (very, very slight). Eye clean, but some natural in situ formed small cleaves remain inside the stone.
Comes with pictured display/gift chain (stainless steel).
