We recently mined this natural Australian light crystal opal on the Old 15 Mile field of Coober Pedy. After attaching it to natural Queensland opal boulder ironstone with strict quality controls we create a doublet, then shape, polish and set it with a deep seated, heavily crimped and cleaned solid 14k gold bail here at Star Mountain Gems Australia.
This petite piece features brilliant red bars shining through an electric green / blue accented face.
This quality opal would retail for around $350 per carat (around 1.2 carat opal weight) making a natural pendant like this hard to find for less than around $450.00 retail.
