This genuine, quality Australian opal pendant has been made with a stunning Coober Pedy (Old 15 Mile field) opal doublet made with Queensland opal boulder backing in a solid 14 karat gold setting with a natural 1.7mm diamond.
Cut from the heart of an exquisite opalised shell, this piece displays striking floral bursts of multicolor crystal opal with patches of very bright, rare red, gold fire with stunning green accents.
This quality opal is valued at $500 per carat. There are around 1.4 carats of opal inlaid in this piece.
