This genuine natural Australian opal mined on the opal fields of Coober Pedy (Dead Horse Gully field) Australia, has been set in solid 14 karat white gold with a Queensland opal boulder ironstone backing (inlaid doublet) here at Star Mountain Gems Australia.
Made from part of an ancient opalised belemnite fossil, this piece evokes mystical enduring power through the symbols of the ring and the incredibly rare and vivid firestrike of the opal.
This quality opal is valued at $750 per carat (around 1 carat gem opal weight).
