This genuine, natural Australian opal pendant has been made with a quality Coober Pedy (Old 15 Mile field) solid opal we mined, cut and set in solid 14 karat yellow gold here at Star Mountain Gems.
Made from the heart of a solid opalised fossil cretaceous bivalve shell, this piece displays rare natural layering with brilliant icy bright green blue crystal over saturated red gold crystal. The combination creates an extremely rare colour combination that is simply stunning and absolutely gaze worthy!
This quality solid opal is valued at $1500 per carat. (3.85 carats gem opal weight)
